JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Monday, March 28, 2022, one eastbound lane of Lapalco Blvd., plus one northbound and one southbound lane of Destrehan Ave. at the intersection of the two roadways will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
To access Destrehan Ave., motorists traveling eastbound on Lapalco Blvd. will cross the Lapalco Bridge, U-turn onto westbound Lapalco Blvd., cross the bridge and take a right onto Destrehan Ave. on the west side of the bridge.
The closure is necessary to repave the roadway at a cost of $839,569.62. Work is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
