A rural Virginia native, Rev. Sherrod learned from his grandmother that body and spirit go hand-in-hand, and that healthy diet and exercise go a long way in sustaining a long and purposeful life. Eighty-plus years later, Rev. Sherrod remains with us, a testament to his grandmother’s wisdom. “It’s a good reason for you to join us for a walk/run at Cypress Pond,” said Ms. Sherrod.
