ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate vehicle safely, lawfully, and consistent with company policy. Observe all traffic laws; wear seat belts. Maintain security of vehicle and vehicle contents. • Inspect and maintain vehicle condition by completing vehicle checklist daily, comply with company preventive maintenance schedule, and keep interior and exterior clean. • Load and unload merchandise; • Distribute company- rentals equipment as directed. Set up & Breakdown Rental Equipment’s (Tents, Stage, Floors) • Clean, touchup, repair, refurbish, test, check and service merchandise as needed. • Prepare merchandise for delivery; deliver, install and demonstrate rental merchandise in customer’s homes. • Perform service calls to clients • Handles merchandise in accordance with company procedures; using hand trucks and dollies as appropriate; Load vehicles in safe manner using tie down straps and blankets. • Clean, check and test all merchandise upon return from customer/before delivery to customer. • Follow safe work practices as directed by the company. • Secure and maintain all tools issued by the company. Use all tools in the manner in which they are intended to be used. • Cleans and maintains warehouse. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Knowledge of methods of delivery and use of delivery equipment, safe work practices, cleaning and maintenance techniques. • Installation, operation, and service of home appliances and electronics. • Demonstrate a willingness to learn operation of all current and future store merchandise. • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. • Able to work independently in the absence of direct supervisor. • Able to work flexible hours. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 200 pounds with assistance. Required education: • High school or equivalent Required experience: • Truck Driving experience (3 year +) Required: • Valid Driver’s License (Driver record will be checked) Required language: • English, Bilingual (a plus) Must be able to read order slips & Communicate with workers THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE DRIVING & LABOR WORK LOADING UNLOADING EQUIPMENT. RAIN OR SHINE JOB MUST BE COMPLETED WORK 40+ HOURS WE ARE IN SEASON WEEKENDS WILL BE REQUIRED & EVENING HOURS (MAKE GOOD INCOME WEEKLY$$$).
