BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The funeral procession for a Bucks County trooper that was killed last week is expected to cause traffic in the Levittown and Tullytown areas on Thursday, March 31.
Trooper Martin F. Mack III was killed in a car crash on Interstate 95 on Monday, March 21. Mack, along with Trooper Branden T. Sisca, was killed after being struck by a reportedly intoxicated driver as they assisted someone on the road in Philadelphia.
Mack's funeral will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church, located at 66 Levittown Parkway in the Levittown area. The service will begin at 11 a.m.
A funeral procession will travel to Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, located at 1215 Super Highway in Langhorne.
According to the Bucks County Courier Times, 5,000 members of law enforcement and hundreds of other mourners are expected to attend the funeral and pay their respects to the fallen trooper.
As a result, the Levittown Parkway from Route 13 to Kenwood Drive in both directions will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Many troopers and law enforcement officials are expected to attend the funeral.
While the trooper and his family were parishioners of St. Mark Catholic Church in Bristol Borough, the Tullytown Catholic church was chosen as the location because it can seat more people, as many are expected to come and pay their respects to the fallen trooper.
