Fargo Firefighters Respond To Apartment Fire At 12th Street South

Press release from the City of Fargo: March 24, 2022 The Fargo Fire Department and Fargo Police Department responded to a report of a fire structure at 107 12th St. S at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 24. A resident of the apartment complex called 911 when they heard smoke detectors going off. Upon arrival, firefighters and officers located smoke coming from a lower level apartment. The tenant, Michael Gil, refused to open the door, therefore crews breached the door. The fire had been extinguished prior to the FFD's entry into the unit. Damage is estimated to be less than $100. No injuries were reported. Gil was arrested for Endangering By Fire and Possession of Meth Paraphernalia. This press release was produced by the City of Fargo.
