MOKENA, IL — The Village of Mokena is alerting residents to a prescribed burn to take place Tuesday in the Crystal Creek area north of 191st Street between Wolf Road and 104th Avenue. The controlled burn is expected to start at some point in the morning Tuesday and will last for 4-8 hours, according to the Village. Village and Mokena Fire Protection District staff will be monitoring the burn to ensure safety, according to the Village.
