Hello! JustJuice Smoothies is looking for a few talented part-time staff to work our smoothie stand Sunday mornings at the Dupont Farmers Market, the busiest farmers market in the region! We are looking to hire immediately for work twice a month (every other Sunday, we are a bi-weekly pop-up vendor) from April through next fall. Shifts are from 730am to about 2pm. This is an ideal side job for someone looking for a side job on Sundays. Maybe you are a local student, a smoothie lover, or simply someone who enjoys the Dupont market! Our pay structure is incentive based with a minimum of $15/hr plus customer tips and incentive pay (a % of sales of each market). You will average about $17-$20/hr with some upside. You will also get free smoothies during your shift and vendor discounts with other market vendors (usually around 20% off). You will also get in on the ground floor of a health-food startup that will allow for growth opportunities for you over time (management, marketing, etc.) JustJuice Smoothies is a social enterprise founded in the spring of 2017 to bring healthier, tastier and more accessible smoothies to the DC area. Responsibilities: -You must be punctual and have good time management. Markets MUST start on time and showing up late or not at all means you won't be invited back. -You will be responsible for the setup, management, and cleanup of our smoothie blending stand. -You will run or be a part of a three staff team at each market. -You must be able to physically carry up to 40+ pounds at a time. This includes tent set up, tables, coolers, etc. Some physical labor of setup/takedown is involved! -Prior management/supervisory experience is a plus, as is previous food or farmers market work.
