UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was slashed in the face Tuesday morning among the throngs of commuters riding the B/C train on the Upper West Side, police said.
An attacker cut a man on the cheek around 9:15 a.m. near the West 72nd Street B/C station, police said.
The man who was slashed in the face is expected to survive, NYPD added.
The attacker fled, and there have been no arrests, police said.
The police spokesperson could not immediately give Patch more details, saying that the victim was "not being cooperative." Thus, cops could not immediately gain more information about how the slashing happened.
