Description
Rehoming a one year old cream colored neutered male shepard/husky/lab mix, we are retired, we adopted him in California before we moved back to Syracuse and realized he is just to energetic for us. His name is Brad Pitt he responds very well to “Brad”. We have an older female who doesn’t really like him as well. He is smart he listens well, responds very well to his name and seems to understand your moods, he is about 40 pounds, may get 50 we think he will not be bigger than that. He takes a few minutes to warm up to strangers but is fine once he does, we have had him a couple months and at 65 and 73 realize he is just too energetic for our household. He is up to date with rabies and all shots, he comes with a crate if adopter wants it, leashes and bowl. We have no young children so don’t know how he is with them. If he is taken out regular he is pretty well housebroken. He deserves a good home to run and play and be a loyal companion. He seems ok with female dogs, he gets excited at first so slow introductions are best, he was kenneled with another larger male at the shelter so if introductions are slow he should be fine, he may be best as an only pet though as he loves to be with his humans. He hasn’t been around cats don’t know about them, he did see ours with not much reaction but I would introduce slowly. He would make a wonderful pet for an active person or couple, he is alert and would also be a good addition for the extra security of a dog as well. Shelley
