The City of Redmond is hiring seasonal help to support the Parks Maintenance Operations Center. Some of the duties you may be doing include: • Turf maintenance - mowing and trimming grass areas. • Sports field maintenance – field preparation. • Facility maintenance - litter pick-up, restroom cleaning and court cleaning. • Preventative maintenance – small repairs and pressure washing. • Horticultural maintenance – shrub bed and flower maintenance. • Urban forestry – trail and tree maintenance. • Facility repair – carpentry and other skills necessary to make repairs to park facilities and municipal buildings. HOURS and DURATION: Hours will be varied and may include weekends. Full and part-time supplemental positions available. This is a seasonal position which is limited to 1,040 hours per calendar year between April 1 and September 30. Consideration will be given to varied schedules including start and end dates. The Seasonal Park Maintenance Aide will earn between $20.00 - $25.53 per hour. Please apply online by April 30, 2022, via www.redmond.gov/jobs.
