Our new up and coming mobile detailing company is looking to hire a mobile detailer to help us build our company and our brand. We provide customers a best-in-class mobile car wash service in addition to a variety of options that can take their wants and needs to the next level. We are looking for a thorough, responsible car detailer who will adhere to provide quality automotive detailing services to our customers. The Car Detailer will clean vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which will include performing a visual inspection, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors. You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles. There is a sales portion to the job which involves directly interacting with customers to potentially offer additional services on a case-by-case basis. Our car detailers will arrive to our headquarters to pick up the company provided van and access a list of the clients they will be working with for the day. The clients will vary from personal homes, businesses, dealerships, and more within your assigned service area unless otherwise directed. To do well in this position, you will need to be physically capable of performing manual labor while standing for most of your shifts. You should also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to do quality work with minimal supervision. We prefer candidates who have previous experience with detailing cars. But we’re happy to look at your resume even if you don’t. Car Detailer Responsibilities: Travel onsite to retrieve the company van in the morning from our corporate office prior to going onsite to customer homes Perform visual inspections prior to detailing the customer vehicle Answer any questions that customers may have about their car detailing. This includes upselling and cross selling additional services that they may need Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles using a variety of products and methods Operate polishers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations. Apply protective finishes to the exteriors and interiors of our customers cars Assist us in the management of inventory, reordering supplies, and cleaning dirty equipment. Perform other administrative tasks as requested by supervisors. Organize the van prior to ending your shift for the day. Car Detailer Requirements: Prior Detailing experience preferred Certifications in automotive detailing or restoration is a plus Must have a valid state driver’s license with good driving record Must have a flexible schedule! Must be courteous, responsible, and detail-oriented Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to comply with all company procedures and policies Ability to use a variety of car cleaning products and tools.
