Maintenance Technician – Commercial Property POSITION SUMMARY: The maintenance technician will work as part of a team who maintains 300,000 square feet of commercial office space at one location as well as the parking lot and grounds. Requirements & Duties Good understanding of and experience with plumbing – faucets, toilets, water fountains and unclogging drains. Replacing light fixtures or ballasts and other minor electrical work. Drywall repair & painting, including preparation of walls and surfaces. Ability to work on a ladder. Must be: • Well organized and able to problem solve • Self-motivated and able to complete tasks in a timely manner • Customer service oriented 1-2 years commercial property maintenance experience preferred. Work is performed at various locations inside and outside of the buildings all year round, sometimes in extreme cold and heat. Work requires moderate physical exertion including some lifting, climbing, bending, stretching and stooping. Employees work a conventional work week with a rotating schedule of required overtime.
