Busy Providence auto body shop seeking full-time automotive paint prepper Full-service Auto Body Shop specializing in every type of auto body repair including fleet vehicles, ambulances, trucks, etc. Looking to fill position immediately! Daily Responsibilities: Prepare vehicle for painting Communicate with painter and team Ensures safe and organized vehicle flow in and out of paint department Ensure and double-check the quality of work Mask and clean as necessary Complete vehicle inspection Perform other duties as assigned by manager Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to perform repetitive tasks Manual dexterity Vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping Exposure to fumes, chemicals, high level of dust and noise Must be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator
