Description
I am needing to rehome 2 bassets, 1 four year old male and 1 three year old female. They are spay/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on their vaccines. They are a mated and bonded pair so they will need to go to their new home as a pair. The male is a lemon and white, female is a tri color. I am rehoming them because we live is a 600 sf apartment and I work 50-60 hours a week. While they are loved and well cared for, they need to be with a family that has a yard, plenty of time, and understanding of how bassets are. They are very energetic and LOVE to play. They are both leash reactive and so taking them on a walk around the neighborhood is challenging. Going to a dog park with the male is out of the question unless he is muzzled because he likes to challenge other dogs. I think that these issues are due to being cooped up on the house and not having a yard or exposure to other people and dogs. With that being said, they are very loving, have been raised around cats and do very well with them. They also do very well with my grandkids. Because they are food vessels for the bassets. Serious inquiries only as these are my babies and I do this with a heavy heart.
