We are seeking security members to be a part of our team! We have several locations throughout DC looking for security staff. This is a part-time position (up to 30 hours per week overall). Looking for individuals with a positive disposition to join our team. We provide on the job training for all employees and experience levels. The establishments we service are respectable and have great vibes. Make some extra cash on the evenings and weekends in a fun work environment. Weekly pay-outs. College athletes encouraged to apply REQUIREMENTS: - Must have full and open evening and weekend availability. - Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields are preferred but not necessary. - First Aid and CPR Certifications are preferred. - Ability to handle physical workload along with strong attention to detail. - Ability to wear the following: Black Uniform Pants, Black Button-Down Shirt, Black Shoes. Must be clean & presentable with grooming as well. - Must be of responsible character & maturity level to be attentive and personable with customers. - Size not a preference, however you must be in decent shape to be able to handle yourself physically should the work demand it. (i.e., physically active, able to carry at least 50lbs) -excellent customer service Security staff will be responsible with the following: -Search individual patrons and their bags for any/all weapons -Crowd control, ensure patrons can effectively navigate through the crowd without incident -Support company staff in ensuring patrons are serviced without incident -Exposure to potential stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area or inebriated -Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations -Quickly & efficiently diffuse any/all incidents without conflict, when/if possible.... (Maintain your self-respect but leave your ego at the home). Our primary objective is to always maintain the peace.
