We have a building in the Warehouse District that includes a residence and office. We are looking for someone with Handyman skills to work with us on a regularly scheduled (proactive) and as-needed (reactive/emergency) basis to be responsible for building upkeep and maintenance.
Examples of tasks we need accomplished are air filters cleaned, minor electric fixes (switches, etc), pressure washing, repainting doors or high traffic areas, appliance maintenance, labor to move furniture for events, outdoor landscape assistance, etc. You must be comfortable with heights and ladders, as you will regularly need to access the second story roof by extension ladder.
We imagine we'd create a schedule for someone to regularly tend to certain matters (like changing air filters) on a prescribed schedule in alignment with the requirements of the building, but also would like to be able to call as needed for emergency issues as they arise.
This would be good for someone with construction labor experience who wants a side-gig to pick up a little extra as needed, or if you are a handyman for many people we could be a good additional client. We can be very flexible with the schedule.
