TDS is currently offering a Hiring Bonus of up to $8,000* for the following position: Compactor Technician (*exclusions apply - please contact HR for details) The position is responsible for assisting in compactor repairs, installation and preventative maintenance. This position will also assist the Foreman and Lead Technician with limited tasks. At least three years of experience in the maintenance and repair of compactors, welding, hydraulic systems, electrical hook-ups; Must have a basic understanding of electricity Strong welding and mechanical background Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment Time management skills Working knowledge of MIG, TIG and stick welding Ability to read and understand blue prints and electrical diagrams Five to ten years experience in compactor installation or repairs; Outside sales in compactor service; and Valid Commercial Driver’s License. Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current motor vehicle record (MVR), with no serious accidents or traffic violations *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
