Description

The Heavy Equipment Operator operates excavation equipment to process and move scrap iron around the yard and to load semi-trailers. This position may also be assigned to assist with the Green Builder department or to perform laborer duties, when needed. At least two years of experience operating heavy equipment Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules and memorandums in English Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as being able to work independently with attention to detail Reliable transportation Available to work weekend or holiday shifts, as scheduled High school diploma or equivalent First Aid/ CPR Training Bilingual in English and Spanish Valid Class C driver’s license Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current motor vehicle record (MVR), with no serious accidents or traffic violations *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
