The position will be responsible for ensuring all industrial equipment is properly maintained and in safe operational condition. This position will be a working supervisor responsible for hiring, assisting and supervising the mechanics charged with repairing and maintaining the industrial equipment (IE), ensuring the mechanics are properly trained and, when necessary, training the mechanics on specific aspects of the equipment’s maintenance and repair.
High school diploma or equivalent and 10-12 years’ experience in hydraulic, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and special body applications, including three years maintenance supervisory experience or a graduate of a technical school with five to eight years’ experience;
Strong mechanical background;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite - i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook;
Ability to function in a fast paced work environment;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MSHA or OSHA training certificates;
Maintenance supervisory certificates; and
Computerized Maintenance Management Software training (CMMS)
Valid Texas Class C driver’s license;
Motor Vehicle Report with a clean driving record for the past five years;
Must have and maintain ASE or Dealer certification
