Woodstock Way Hotel is a boutique hotel in the heart of Woodstock, NY. We're looking for energetic, responsible individuals to join our housekeeping team, with the potential for growth to other areas of the hotel. While experience cleaning high end residences or within a hotel environment is preferred, it is not necessary. Other relevant experience within Retail or Hospitality showcasing an eye for detail and commitment to responsibility will be sufficient. Major Responsibilities: A Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of the unit’s general cleanliness and providing tidy and sanitary amenities while ensuring confidentiality and security of guest rooms. Housekeepers are required to perform a range of duties including, but are not limited to, making beds, cleaning linens, replenishing and cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping, dusting, garbage removal and alerting management of any damages or maintenance issues. Other duties may be assigned to Housekeepers to complete on a daily basis. Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods of time Performing repetitive movements Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs Kneel, crouch, or crawl Use of ladders, housekeeping carts, and other housekeeping equipment One weekend day a week is required.
