Local advertising and design professionals are paired with college students for a Q&A session and portfolio review. College students interested in a creative career in graphic design, illustration, photography, etc. are encouraged to attend this FREE event! The deets: This event will take place IN-PERSON at The Nest in Green Bay on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. It kicks off with a conversational Q & A session with pros representing a variety of specialties. Chat with illustrator Robb Mommaerts, get job search and networking advice from CEO of Big Shoes Network Martha Carrigan, and learn about freelance work from illustrator and graphic designer Joel Haase, just to name a few. Students and reviewers will then be split into one-on-one portfolio review sessions. Students: You’ll be able to select areas of interest, like illustration or art direction, so we can match you with professionals with that experience.
