My autistic son has grown up without a dog and we finally have a good yard and are ready to have one. Preferably small and good around kids and chickens such as a basset hound or toy sheppard. However a large dog would be ok if it is something like a golden retriever or husky. Most importantly we cannot afford to pay hundreds of dollars we just want a free puppy, we can afford the food and supplies and getting the shots ofc.
