Become a Host Parent! Open House for Prospective Host Families

We are an international language school that is in search of host parents interested in joining our homestay program! If you've ever been interested in joining a homestay program, this is the event for you! Kaplan International - Seattle welcomes you to visit our school for this special event . As a thank you for visiting, light refreshments will be provided, and the first 25 prospective hosts will get a free "Host Student Welcome Kit" swag bag! Hosting is a great way to learn about other cultures and share your own culture as you welcome a student from overseas. Come learn about our school, students, and homestay program at this open house event. We will give tours of the school and answer any queries you have about our program, including what is required to host, what are payment system is, and what a typical host experience might look like. Our program is excellent for new hosts as we are a year round program - hosts are welcome to host short or long term, seasonally, or continuously. Our students are aged 16+, with the average age being closer to 20 years old. Applications are available at the time of the event or in advance by emailing [email protected]. At this time, masks are still required at our school when not actively eating or drinking.
