LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Rider University has further postponed the Lawrenceville Commencement ceremonies scheduled for Nov. 1, to May 2021, the university announced Wednesday. Earlier this year, the commencement ceremony which usually happens in May, was postponed to November due to the coronavirus outbreak. The latest postponement comes with the state issuing limits on large indoor gatherings. The Westminster Choir College ceremony scheduled for Dec. 12, will now take place sometime mid-May. Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 Lawrenceville Commencement ceremonies will be held separately on the weekend of May 15 and 16, 2021, informed the university. "This pandemic has had a profound impact on your lives and the lives of so many across our country and the world," Rider President Gregory Dell'Omo wrote to students. "But know this: We are doing all we can to ensure that you are celebrated for the significant milestone you have each achieved while also ensuring your safety and that of your families," he said. Family Weekend/Homecoming, and Readings and Carols will happen virtually this year. More details on ceremony location, date and time are available here : https://www.rider.edu/offices-...
