ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work with the Traffic Control Department at work sites to direct motorists by flagging them away from worker activities, moving equipment, oncoming traffic and perform duties listed below: Set-up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert trafficFollow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment (work boots – 6 inches with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest) Without Supervision must be able to set up and perform flagger position at job site based on site plan and or contractor directionsGenerally, works under the Supervision of Project Manager, TCT (Traffic Control Technician), TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor) or maybe assigned to work independentlyAdhere to all Company Policies and ProceduresAll other duties as assigned OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate with contractors and relate specific customer/job changes, and other information to Supervisor, Project manager, office staff or other personnelProvide the highest level of customer service to all customersComplete and submit daily paperwork accurately and timelyOperate 2-way radio in coordination of traffic WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particlesRegularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; for up to 14 hours a dayNoise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loudOccasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds REQUIREMENTS: Flexible Availability (mainly Day Shifts) Valid Driver’s License (for Driving Positions) Ability to Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) / Clean Driving RecordReliable Means of Transportation to and from WorkAbility to Successfully Pass a Drug TestAbility to Successfully Pass a DOT Physical ScreeningFlagger Certification or Ability to Participate and Pass Company Sponsored Flagger CertificationAbility to Participate and Pass Company Sponsored Defensive Driving TrainingAbility to Complete Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Training and Receive Certification BENEFITS: WEEKLY PAYMedicalDentalVisionLife / AD & DShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityCritical Illness & AccidentTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) Company Sponsored GED ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramPaid Time Off (PTO)401K PAY: Starting at $15.00 Per Hour IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM, FEEL FREE TO TEXT OR CALL (786) 559-2094.
