Follow this link to apply: Looking for a person who can work independently at times. Applicant must be calm by nature, custom design orders can be very difficult at times. So, if you easily get frustrated this might not be for you. Safety is the most important part of working with machines. No personnel cell phones allowed during work hours. Prefer one with woodworking machine experience but will train the right applicant. This it highly custom designed woodwork so even highly experienced persons needs a lot of training, so coming with an open mind is necessary to learn what we do. A lot of our time is spent talking things through, so we can make sure it will be correct the first time. We do get visits from clients, so applicant must be able talk and express them self in a professional and decent manner. General cleaning and maintenance inside and outside the shop. There will be some traveling when we go to jobsite to install, finish, or maintain some of our work. Must be able to work from a ladder, when we do installations, this is rare but will be needed on occasions. Heavy lifting from time to time, we try to use lifting equipment as much as possible. Must be able to think several steps ahead when working on projects, some of the wood we use are very rare and may not be processed wrongly. We might not be able to get new pieces if mistakes are made. We prefer to use nonhazardous materials for our finishing, but it’s still finishes so safety rules must be obeyed at all times. Salary is based on qualifications, woodworking tools/machines are not toys and must be taken seriously. The first 90 days will determine if applicant will be hired permanent. Shop is in Starke Florida. If applicant has a long commute, we will try to accommodate starting hours within reason. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 /hour Hours: 80 hour bi-weekly. Start AM 7 - 7.30 End PM 4 - 5 Time clock is used to record time. Pay: Direct deposit every 2nd week
