Description
The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of operations for the buildings, including maintenance and tenant relations. This is an on-site role, where you will be tasked of overseeing the properties, ensuring the on-site staff is addressing tenant issues properly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage resident service requests, including scheduling and ensuring completion.
- Manage maintenance staff and following up on repair appointments, including but not limited to keeping track of their daily schedules & repairs.
- Correspond with tenants and City Administrative agencies to resolve issues as they arise in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular property inspections of the building infrastructure, appearance, cleanliness and vacancies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance issues.
- Review and approve orders for materials and services.
- Inspect properties regularly, note deficiencies and take corrective action.
- Oversee construction and apartment renovations.
- Must be highly organized and personable.
- Proficient with technology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong Computer Skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
• General knowledge of building systems and general maintenance.
• Must have the ability to successfully interact with tenants in a professional manner.
