PROPERTY CARETAKER Part time CARETAKER for Self-Storage center in Newton. This position includes some weekends. Evening hours 4pm-9pm five (5) days per week. Descriptive Summary Our caretaker is responsible for general maintenance, cleaning, grounds keeping and property checks at our self-storage center. Outline • 20-25 hours/week • Paid vacation • Pay is negotiable and based on experience Key Competencies • Work experience in caretaking, cleaning, janitorial or light maintenance • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use required tools • Ability to operate machinery used in caretaking • Comfortable interacting with the general public by representing our company in a professional manner • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Dependable • Organized • Detail-oriented • Positive attitude Other Job Requirements • Able to respond onsite to emergency or security issues • Lifting unit doors, etc. up to 50 lbs. • Bending, pushing, pulling • Other duties as assigned Please submit your resume and cover letter with contact information.
