Purebred Maine Coon Cat - Must rehome due to emergency

Due to an emergency situation (our building was condemned), we have to move within 48 hours. Our only housing options do not allow pets. So, we must find a good home for our beloved cat. Charlie is a 12 year old purebred Maine Coon cat. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots. He is long haired and quite big. He weighs about 20 lbs. He is a very lovable, very affectionate cat. He wants to be near people and is happy being a spoiled rotten lap cat. He prefers to sleep with his humans. He will claim the pillow next to yours and curl up on it, if you sleep alone. If you don't sleep alone, Charlie insists on the warm spot at the foot of the bed, He loves to play with laser toys and will chase catnip balls and play with catnip mice. He will follow you all over like a puppy. But, you do not have to walk him. He is litter box trained. He does not claw furniture. He loves children and will allow them to pet him for hours. He is not fussy about what he eats. He will eat most kinds of cat food. He likes some human food too. He will usually meow and ask for a taste of what you are eating. He is the world's best pet and has been our best buddy for many years. He has never been outdoors and is an indoor only cat. He is a good mouser and has caught mice in our apartment. There is no rehoming fee. He will come with his litter box, a new bag of litter, the rest of his food, his cat treats, his cat toys, his cat bed, his harness and leash (yes he will walk on one). etc. Please call (home) or (cell) and ask for Peggy or Frank.
