Description

SAN RAFAEL, CA — During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which runs through October, the San Rafael Police Department is "going pink" with the Pink Patch Project — a community-wide, fundraising campaign for a San Rafael-based nonprofit. The San Rafael department has participated in the annual awareness campaign since 2016. The commemorative pink patches are available for $10 (cash or check) through the San Rafael Police Association during business hours at the San Rafael Public Safety Center or online here. Proceeds from patch sales will go to Zero Breast Cancer Marin, a local not-for-profit that promotes breast cancer risk reduction through scientific research and supports health and wellness.
