Property Maintenance Technician / Construction Laborer Position
We are looking for a dependable on time, enthusiastic worker who takes pride in their work. Candidate must have a valid clean drivers license, reliable transportation, able to pass a CORI test, able to lift 80 lbs occasionally. Own hand tools for basic building repairs, 5 years experience in this position or similar experience. Able to pass a basic math and communication quiz. Keep daily work reports, ability to organize a work day to be task driven priority based schedule. Must be on time, able to work 5 days a week and occasional night or weekend work if required by job or weather conditions.
Experience Needed:
Grass Cutting, brush cutting, parking lot blow off
Light parking lot trash pickup
Snow plowing, skid steer salting, shoveling walks and stairs
Ability to use ladders, set staging
Maintain gas powered small tools, oil, lube, grease, fuel mix as needed
Maintain hand tools, sharped, lube, organize tools
Read measuring tape, cut materials
Painting, patching drywall
Hang drywall, tape, sand as needed
Check and restock bathroom supplies
Job site preparation: plastic tenting, taping for dust protection, clean up
Change light bulbs, clear an occasional plugged drain line,
Assist on construction projects:
Selective removals, assist carpenters, floor installers, painters, clean job site, load debris in dumpster.
Helpful:
Mechanical ability -- repairs
Added certificates or training - OSHA 10, 30, ladder safety, Scaffolding Safety
Ability to read specifications, MSDS sheets, email or text information on job progress
Communicate with other trades on jobs, clients or tenants in buildings
Familiarity with Mass State Building Codes
Good hourly wage, paid holidays, vacation pay, retirement plan offered, overtime as needed
Probably full time but could be part time for right candidate.
