Description

Learn how to create and maintain a garden that is fun, beautiful, and full of life! Join us on Saturday April 16th (rain date April 30th) at 9:00am or 11:00am for a hands-on workshop at the Thetford Center green. Participants will practice preparing native seeds for their garden, and learn a variety of methods for creating garden beds. Together we will prepare garden beds near the gazebo on the Thetford Center green, making way for a lovely community pollinator garden. Bring gardening gloves, if you prefer, and an empty plant pot or salad greens container for a DIY seeding tray. Parking is available next to the green at the Thetford Community Center, and across from the green at the Timothy Frost Church and Thetford Town Hall. This workshop is part of a Gardening With Native Plants series hosted by the Thetford and West Fairlee Conservation Commissions.
