MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Sonoma County man was arrested Tuesday in Marin County on suspicion of sexually assaulting a juvenile in Los Gatos last month, police said. Dana Joseph Wright, 35 of Bodega Bay, was arrested by Marin County Sheriff's deputies in connection with an alleged Oct. 18 incident, Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police said. Wright ran away from the scene after a brief struggle, police said. Wright was associated with a tan Mercedes Sprinter van with unique markings, police said. Images of the suspect taken from surveillance video and a composite sketch based on the alleged victim's description along with a vehicle description were broadcast to law enforcement agencies statewide. After confirming a match with Los Gatos-Monte Sereno detectives investigating the case, Sheriff's deputies arrested Wright on a $1 million warrant, police said. Wright was booked into Santa Clara jail on two felony sexual assault charges, police said. Police said their investigation of this case is ongoing.
