Old singer looking for a new band. An ORIGINAL one!

I am 55 (Don't worry, I can, and will "keep up with you", no matter what your age.) and have been in bands for well over 30 years. I have no desire to not be in the band I am in now. BUT, the inactivity is not good for my mental health and physical well being! (Have no fear, when my other band picks up again, it will NOT interfere with this one. In fact, we will do some shows together.) I am in Cranston, and have no space. (I practice with other band in Richmond... when we play:( I am a singer, a lyricist, can have input on music writing, and am a percussionist. I also put shows together, so, when we are ready, we WILL get some, in RI, MA, CT, NY. The band I am in now is "punk" with large elements of "heavy metal", but we have some blues, funk, country, rap, and anything else we want, thrown in. I simply refuse to be trapped in any one genre. I want to do original songs, but, of course, some cool covers, done "our way", is always fun too. IDC care about your age, your race, your color, your sexual orientation, what you do outside the band... I DO care about you not being an alcoholic, drug addict, douche bag, racist, homophob, and being able to show up for practice, and shows, ON TIME! Obviously having the gear YOU need, to play YOUR stuff, is a must! Practice once a week, at least, play out once a month, at least. Weed/beer/drinks are all good and fine... as long as you can play. Also, have a car! And be able to kick in on band stuff when needed.
