Iowa-Chinese Business and Education Symposium with special guest speakers including Jonathan Hassid and Rick Kimberly 50 years after President Nixon visited China and 10 years after President Xi's second visit to Iowa this symposium brings together business, education, community leaders, and students to discuss topics including: The trend and future of U.S.-China relationsWhy the China-U.S. relationship is at a crucial turning pointWhat has shaped and what will shape U.S.-Chine relationsWhat is the impact of the Russia/Ukraine situation for the U.S., China, and IowaNote that this symposium is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Immediately following, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM is the Iowa Chinese New Year Celebrations and the Iowa Chinese Achievement Awards Ceremony. This special time includes food, children games/activities, a silent charity auction, music/art, martial arts, business exhibits, and award presentations.
