In this class, Pamela Peck, member of the Native Plant Society will help us identify and learn about a variety of plants native to our area and how to choose the right ones for our gardens. Native plants tend to be drought tolerant, most need little, if any supplemental fertilizer, are resistant to most diseases and pests, and many provide habitat and food sources for local wildlife.
