IN-PERSON: Hands-on propagation workshop Come explore the basics of simple and inexpensive propagation techniques with hands-on opportunities to propagate your own cuttings with provided plant materials. Take cuttings home with you!What is propagation? Planting seeds is propagation!Taking cuttings is propagation!Grafting is propagation!Bulb division is propagation!In this workshop we will focus on vegetative propagation of plants which is asexual reproduction (meaning it does not require fertilizing a flower for example) in plants where a new plant grows from a fragment or cutting of the parent plant. Join Extension Agent, Celine Richard in learning best practices for taking cuttings from different types of plants and seeing them through to rooted, propagated plants.
