Sharon Police Issue Alert After Man Tries To Lure Teen Into Car

SHARON, MA — Sharon police have issued a community alert after they say a man tried to lure a teenage girl into his car while she was walking down the street. According to police, the teenager was walking on Massapoag Ave. near Horizons Road around 8:30 p.m. on March 18 when she was approached by a driver asking her for directions. When the girl started to give him directions, police say a white man tried to lure her into his white "muscle car" with a loud exhaust. She immediately ran away and was able to make it home safely, police said, adding that she reported the incident several days later.
