Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18 - $20 per hour, Salaried positions available for managers Overtime available Health Insurance after 90 days. Enjoy talking and listening to people? We’re looking for experienced door-to-door canvassers and team leaders to work on some projects in Las Vegas. Rapid advancement available for the right candidate! Some staff stay for a project, others have been here for 5, 10, even 15 years! Read First: Must be comfortable working for and talking to people of all political persuasions and parties. Must be comfortable knocking on doors and having conversations with voters. Comfortable working outside on your feet for a full day. We start our day early and end it when the sun goes down. Reliable cell phone. Must be 21 or older with a Government ID. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. About us: We are passionate about the field. We work on campaigns and petitions nationwide, recruiting, traveling canvassers to talk to voters on behalf of candidates and causes. Our staff love to travel. We see the Northern Lights in Denali and the alligators in the Everglades. And in the meantime, we have meaningful conversations with the voters everywhere in between. You may be looking for a campaign gig through the end of the year or you may be looking for a forever political home. Either way, let’s talk. About this project: We’re looking for a few team members to join a project in progress, talking to registered voters and persuading them to support a candidate or cause. It requires a lot of physical and intellectual energy. We spend a long day in the field, up to 6 days a week. (Overtime available) You must be comfortable working outside in all kinds of weather conditions. All of our projects are on tight deadlines, and we’re looking for people who share our sense of urgency. No Drama. We’re looking for reliable, motivated people who will show up to work every day. About You: Outgoing: Must be comfortable talking to people in person. Articulate and Persuasive: Must be able to explain complicated political issues quickly. Stamina: Must be comfortable working outside, on your feet for a full day. Team Player: Must be able to handle constructive criticism and work with a group.
