MIDDLEBORO, MA — The Middleboro Police Department is investigating an act of vandalism that happened at the high school Sunday night. Officers responded to Middleboro High School at 7:40 a.m. Monday morning and say they found spray-painted tags of hateful language and a swastika on the front wall of the building. "There is no place for the type of hate these individuals put on display at Middleborough High School, and we are committed to working with the school administration and our community partners to both investigate the crime that took place and address the messages themselves," Chief Joseph Perkins said. The wall has since been covered up, but Middleboro police are still looking for suspects. Middleboro school officials shared surveillance images that show two suspects believed to be involved in the vandalism. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 508-947-1212.
