Bring family and friends aboard the Hornet Museum's historic aircraft carrier for a Mother's Day tea service in the Officers' Wardroom! The Hornet Museum welcomes families and friends of all ages to join us for our Mother’s Day Tea Service on Sunday, May 8, 2022! This ticket includes tea service in the historic Officers’ Wardroom with real US Navy china as well as General Admission to the Hornet Museum. All proceeds from this tea service go to the preservation of the Museum’s artifacts as well as exhibit enhancements—we're looking forward to sharing our working collection with you! Museum Maps will be available in the Wardroom so you can tour our museum, which is open from 10AM - 5PM. You can arrive at any time before your tea service starts--simply show Admissions proof of event purchase and you will be allowed aboard. We are asking all attendees to gather by the Admissions Desk approximately 5 minutes before their service begins. Parties of 3 or more will be seated at their own table--the tables comfortably seat six so we recommend parties of three to six people! Please Note: The Wardroom where the event is hosted is down one deck from the main level of the Museum, and participants will need to use a steep stairwell and step over 8" combings.
