A fun new way to flow, grab a drink and come to your mat! Only this class, all proceeds will benefit The Care House of the Pee Dee! Let's FLOW! CrissCross will be hosting a SipFlow at the one and only SipCo Wine + Beer in Lake City. A cool Saturday morning flow with your friends and a tasty drink in your hand. This will be an all levels fun and playful flow to get your day started right. This class will be partnering with The Care House of the Pee Dee and all proceeds will go to them! This is also the day of their annual 5K, Capes for Kids. You are encouraged to dress up as your favorite superhero for this class! Here is more about who they are... "The CARE House began in 2004 when Law Enforcement identified a need for a more effective and efficient facility to provide forensic services to victims of maltreatment. A permanent location was found and renovations began shortly after. In October of 2006, the CARE House opened their doors for the first time at the new facility; we also obtained Non-profit status in December of the same year. The first Board of Directors meeting was held in March of 2007. We officially obtained National Accreditation in September of 2009. We are currently an Associate Developing Center. To date, CARE House has served over 8,000 children in need of our services. CARE House started out with its primary focus on forensic interviews and forensic medical exams. Over the last ten years, we have broadened our focus to encompass therapies to help children through the whole process of healing from their trauma. We provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Alternatives for Families: a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. We also provide advocacy to every family that walks through our doors. As we have grown, we have still maintained our focus on helping children of the Pee Dee."
