What's Going On - A Birthday Tribute to the Life & Music of Marvin Gaye MidAmerica Talent Ages 21+ Live performances by some of Minneapolis’ finest vocalists including Jay Bee, Maurice Jacox, Erica West and Lynval Jackson! MidAmerica Talent is proud to present the 25th Annual “What’s Going On”, a very special Birthday celebration of the Life and Music of Marvin Gaye. The show will take place on Friday & Saturday, April 8 & 9, 2022 at Bunkers, 761 N. Washington in Minneapolis. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the music begins at 9:30 PM. Marvin Gaye was truly a unique and gifted performer. Musician, poet, activist and visionary, Marvin’s influence still has a powerful effect on people’s lives to this day. His influence can still be heard and felt in the music of today’s most popular artists. This year’s show will include performances by some of Minneapolis’ finest vocalists and musicians including Jay Bee, Maurice Jacox, Erica West, Lynval Jackson, David Eiland, Daryl Boudreaux, Brian Kendrick, Brian Ziemniak, Troy Norton, Yonathan Bekure and several very special surprise guests. The show will include all of Marvin’s greatest hits, from the early Motown days all the way through “Sexual Healing”!
