Come join our growing team to help with general warehouse work, including picking and packing orders, receiving incoming inventory, maintaining a clean workspace and many other day to day requirements. The compensation is $18/hour and we work Monday - Friday. This is a full time position with 35-40 hours per week. About Golden Gate Fulfillment Golden Gate Fulfillment (GGF) is a growing enterprise providing shipping, packing and postal services for specialty food brands. We believe good brands deserve fast, accurate fulfillment support. GGF is based in Union City, CA. Job Purpose 35-40 hours per week | Start Date: ASAP As Fulfillment Associate, you will report to our fulfillment team lead and warehouse manager who knows the ‘ins and outs’ of the business and will be on hand to train and support you. You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day fulfillment center activities including, but not limited to: - Packing orders - Assisting with general warehouse duties - Maintaining a clean workspace - Building outgoing pallet orders - Taking inventory and light admin work Duties and Responsibilities High school diploma or equivalent Experience with warehouse machinery an advantage You can lift heavy boxes and push or pull heavy items that weigh between 30 and 50 pounds. Experience in a food manufacturing/distribution or grocery environment preferred You don’t mind physical work, it energizes you. You get the job done and you make things happen, even if the day is not perfect. You know how to use a smartphone or computer. You have reliable transportation to and from work Physical Requirements We characterize this role as physically demanding. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, walking, balancing, stooping, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling carts, and handling of materials. Must be able to regularly lift, carry and/or push and/or pull between 30 to 50 pounds.
