Press release from the Carroll County Government: The next Carroll County Limited and Restricted Electrical Registration Examination will be given on Tuesday, April 11, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. If you wish to register for this test, please notify the office prior to April 4, 2022. A registration fee of $50.00 is required prior to examination. Limited electrical applicant: one or more current letters verifying at least two (2) years' experience under a limited or master electrician, and a completed form is required to register. Restricted electrical applicant: one or more current letters verifying at least two (2) years' experience under another restricted or master electrician, and a completed form is required to register. Test is based on the 2017 NEC, Ohm's Law, Electrical theory and mathematics associated with the electrical trade. Small non­ programmable calculators may be used during the test. Please bring the 2017 National Electrical Code book for testing. NEC Handbook without tabs, other books, notes and/or written materials and cell phones are not permitted in the testing area.
