Description
I have 2 openings. Both for 2 years and over. I run a small licensed Daycare. I am located in a very nice and quiet residential area in Walnut Creek. I am just quick 2 minute drive to 680, 24, and Bart. I have 26+years experience doing childcare. 18 of those years in Walnut Creek. I am a mother of 3 (All grown up) as well, which where the real experience and motherly instincts are acquired. In addition to that I worked at my children's pre-schools for 5 years, where I gained a different kind of experience. I run a very small daycare where your children will grow in a homelike environment, where bonds are created between child and caregiver. Children will also bond with one another like siblings. Large daycares are prone to more viruses, simply because they care for more children. In all my experience providing childcare I have observed many benefits to having children I a small group setting. They will fall ill less frequently, simply because there are less children. They are able to bond with one another, and most of them come to love one another like brothers and sisters. They also form a bond with caregiver that is similar to that of a parent. Here they are able to receive the love, care and nurturing they still need at this very young age. In essence, the daycare becomes like a second family and second home. I provide all the meals, consisting of breakfast, lunch and two snacks, as well as whole milk, once they are on table foods. All the meals are homemade by me. Most large daycares don't provide homemade meals. They will ask you to pack a lunch, which they will eat cold and is likely to be convenience foods. I do not serve convenience foods. No hot dogs, chicken nuggets, or any other pre-packaged food. I have plenty of experience understanding children's taste buds. As I, myself am a parent of three, one os which used to be a very picky eater! Lol Some of the meals I cook are scrambled eggs, banana pancakes, oatmeal, spaghetti with ground turkey and a red sauce, white rice with carrots and grilled chicken, mexican rice with pinto beans, and finally, rice and lentils, which is an all time favorite! a typical day would include: Breakfast Free play Story Time Snack Outdoor Play Lunch Nap Snack Circle time (playing games, singing) Pick-Up *Please note: Infants will be on their own schedule, as they dictate their naps and feeding times. My hours are 7am to 5pm. I can be a little flexible upon request. Lic #073409190
