Press release from the City of Marion:
March 23, 2022
The Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) seeks input from the public on transportation projects included in the metro's draft for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2022 - 2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
The Corridor MPO has issued a survey to allow the public to provide their input on which projects should receive funding in this year's TIP. The survey will close on April 5, 2022.
The TIP is the annual capital budget for the Corridor MPO. These serve as a list of federal-aid eligible surface transportation improvements within the Corridor MPO's planning boundary.
The TIP is a four year planning document that identifies planned transportation projects within the region that are expected to utilize federal-aid funds. This year's TIP includes funding for roadway, trail, transit and Safe Routes to School projects.
