Description

Celebrate and give back to Miami Women in the Food & Beverage Industry! In celebration of Women's History Month, the Miami chapter of Let's Talk Womxn is hosting an evening soirée on Wednesday, March 30th from 7 to 10 p.m. Let's talk and celebrate! The MIAMI chapter of Let's Talk Womxn is now over 70 women strong! This collaborative community has been supporting one another since the height of the pandemic. We are proud to be coming together to host our first Women's History Month Soirée at the new 545 Wyn Rooftop. Over 25 women participants will collaborate on unique menu items for one special evening. You get to sample it all while enjoying music by DJ Zehno and cocktails by Jules Aron. The evening will include chef demonstrations, unlimited food sampling, open bar, live performance by Yoli Mayor, 360-video photo booth, beautiful rooftop views, conversation and celebration! Join our special line up of female chefs and food and beverage industry entrepreneurs as we celebrate this wonderful group of women who have joined together to support one another. All proceeds go directly to Let's Talk Womxn Miami. The evening is presented by Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau with additional sponsorship support from Sysco, Love Life Cafe, Illegal Mezcal, Spring 44 Vodka and Gin, Onda Tequila Seltzer, Parce Rum and JLPR. WHAT IS LET'S TALK WOMXN? Let's Talk Womxn is an action-led movement of 600+ women restaurateurs founded mid 2020 by Rohini Dey, Ph.D. It is now in 13 cities, broadened to women entrepreneurs in food and drink, and nourished by 2-4 of our co-hosts in each city: Chicago, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Greater NY, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Miami, Minneapolis, Houston, Milwaukee. Everything Let's Talk Womxn does is out-of-hide by women owners to boost each other, combine strength, collaborate, and generate visibility for each other. You can see more on these segments (Today Show, Good Morning America, WGN NewsNation), or on http://www.letstalkwomxn.com. Let's Talk Womxn was lauded in the Top 50 Power List NRN within months of inception. They have spoken across sectors, across countries, and within corporations to share this unique model of "collaboration by competitors" for women's empowerment that is applicable to both entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (Women's World Banking, Seramount, DBP, Network of Women Executives, Women in Finance, International Food Manufacturers Assoc, National Restaurant Association, International Women's Forum, Sysco). Because LTW deliberately has no bureaucracy or overheads, all support and revenue flows directly to its women business owners.
