Hi,
I have several tanks that I keep neocaridina shrimp in as a hobby. They have exploded in population and I would like to rehome some. I carry high grade blue dream and Bloody Mary neocaridina shrimp, and of course their culls. I'm not interested in making a profit right now as I am experimenting and having fun.
I am willing to rehome my high grades at 2.00 a piece or 10 for 15.00. Pet stores sell low grade cherry neocaridina starting at 8.00. my pictures do not do them justice! I'm really just trying to find them good homes while I continue to experiment with genetics. If you are interested please email me.
If you currently have an established tropical tank I will rehome to you. If you are just starting up, please get back to me after you are 3 months in. Shrimp are a fun addition to tropical fresh water tanks but only thrive in established tanks that have been set up a min of at least 3 months.
My parameters of keeping
Tds: 425 (high due to heavily planted tank)
Temp: 75. F
Ph: 6.8
Ammonia:0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5
Gh: 11
Kh 2
I've learned neocaridina shrimp are very flexible in parameters as long as it remains stable within those parameters.
If you rehome with me, i'll go over the proper way to acclimate them to your existing tank, but you knowing your parameters to start with is very helpful.
Ones i'll be rehoming are high grade to start your own colony, unless you want to mix colors and have a skittles tank which is fine too, but eventually offspring will revert back to wild color after several generations.
Please email for more info.
