JOLIET, IL — Joliet police announced the arrest of 38-year-old east side resident Michael Bass in connection with allegations of dealing cocaine. Bass, who lives in the 700 block of Chase Avenue, was booked into the Will County Jail around 1:20 a.m. Saturday. "Bass was a suspect in an extensive drug investigation in which he was suspected of selling cocaine during the latter months of 2021," police spokesman Dwayne English announced on Monday morning. Last Thursday, Joliet police got an arrest warrant for Bass related to charges of delivery of a controlled substance.
